About

I have served as a higher education administrator for over 19 years.  My primary experience has taken place in Community Standards, Disability Services, Residence Life and Housing, Academic Advising/Retention and Student Life and Development.  I also maintain a variety of transferable, professional skill sets in a variety of other areas within the contexts of higher education and beyond


* 17 years of student affairs leadership experience at both public and private institutions in Student Life, Residence Life and Community Standards

* 13 years of administrative experience supervising staff teams up to 33 members

* 13 years of experience in Community Standards at both public and private institutions including attendance and certification from ATIXA Title IX Investigator Training School and the Association for Student Conduct Administration Title IX Training

* 13 years of retention and persistence experience serving on a Faculty/Staff Learning Community and facilitating proactive outreaches to students responding to personal, financial and academic obstacles

* Seven years of experience serving as Student Ombuds.  Primary focus on informally resolving student conflict with primary outcomes of student development and persistence
