The ASCA Stop Campus Hazing Act (SCHA) Webinar Series will be provided in three distinct sessions. Join us for one, two, or all three for an in-depth review and analysis of what the SCHA is and requires of institutions of higher education.

  • Part I: Overview of Student Organization Specifics & Definitions
    • April 3, 2025, from 1pm-2pm ET
    • Attendees will understand how the SHCA defines a student organization and how this definition may impact organizational investigations and reporting with regard to hazing allegations. (CSAEd™  Domain: Foundations of the Profession)

  • Part II: Reporting & Compliance Requirements
    • April 8, 2025, from 4pm-5pm ET
    • Attendees will know the required components of the SCHA and identify how they will comply with all requirements on their campus and/or relevant to their specific role. (CSAEd™  Domain: Foundations of the Profession)

  • Part III: Scenarios with Q&A
    • April 11, 2025, from 3pm-4pm ET
    • Part Three: Attendees will practice the application of the particulars of the SCHA by participating in small groups and utilizing case studies. (Not eligible for CEs.)

Presenter Information & Bios:

Danny Foster

Danny (he/him/his) is a Co-Chair of the ASCA Public Policy and Legislative Issues (PPLI) Committee and currently serves as the Associate Director for Community Standards at Emerson College in downtown Boston, MA. Danny is also a doctoral candidate at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Higher Education where his research is focused on graduate student experiences related to the influence of policy and procedures on the graduate student experience, or the lack thereof.

Before his time at Emerson College and beginning his doctoral program, Danny received his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and his master’s degree from Texas A&M University. After receiving his master’s degree, Danny has worked in Residence Life and Student Conduct at multiple higher education institutions, including stops in California, Texas, & Ohio. Danny's professional and research interests include graduate student experiences, post-secondary democratic education, education law and policy, qualitative research methodologies, and applying theory to practice. Dr. Brian Glick

Dr. Brian M. Glick, (he/him/his) currently serves as the director of student conduct and community standards at Adelphi University, located in Garden City, New York. Previously, he served in student conduct positions at Northern Illinois University, and residence life positions at Southeast Missouri State University and Elmhurst College. 

Dr. Glick’s doctoral research established that the practice of student conduct, is a profession, as defined by published criteria. Glick earned a doctorate in education from Northern Illinois University, a master of science in college student personnel administration from the University of Central Arkansas, and a bachelor of arts in communication from Kansas State University. 

Brian also has a long history of involvement with the Association for Student Conduct Administration, including long-time service with the Public Policy Legislative Issues Committee, the Membership Engagement Committee, the Equity and Inclusion Committee, the Donald D. Gehring Academy Faculty, and Student Conduct 101 faculty, and various presidential task forces.. Brian’s service on the ASCA Board of Directors includes Director-at-large, Parliamentarian, Treasurer, and now, President-elect. Contact: ascapresident2026@theasca.org

Kyle McCoil

Kyle McCoil, M.A., CSAEd, CSAEd-SC

Kyle is the Assistant Dean of Students and Dean of Sophomores at Washington and Lee University. In this role, he serves as the primary resource for second-year students and all new transfer students, regardless of their class year. Additionally, Kyle is the primary advisor to the Interfraternity Council (IFC), leads various annual trainings focused on student health and safety, and supports the institution’s hazing prevention efforts. He is an active member of ASCA and currently serves as a Co-Chair for the Fraternity and Sorority Life Community of Practice. Kyle earned his bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of South Carolina and his master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan. He is currently working on his dissertation, which examines the relationship between emotional intelligence and perceptions of hazing severity among college men involved in varsity athletics and Fraternities. Christina Parle

Christina Parle (she/they), or CP, is an educator, thought leader, and consultant. Christina has specific experience in building effective systems, policies, and procedures, as well as curriculum writing, and leadership education. Much of her work is rooted in conflict resolution, effective communication, and building cultures that promote and embody belonging.

Christina has served in various roles over the past 10 years related to student and organizational misconduct, sororities and fraternities, and general student support. She served as the 2023-24 President of the Association for Student Conduct Administration, and most recently served as the Associate Dean of Students for Avila University. Christina received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri and her master’s in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs from Penn State University.

Christina lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her dog, Nugget, loves the musical Hamilton, and considers herself a tv show enthusiast. Contact: christina@cpedconsulting.com

Dr. Maleta Wilson

Dr. Wilson, also known as "Doc," is a first-generation college graduate who faced challenges while completing her undergraduate degree due to difficulty balancing academics and social life. However, she refused to let that setback dictate her outcome and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a Master's degree in Transformative Leadership, and an Ed.D in Organizational Change and Leadership. Dr. Wilson is a former law enforcement officer with a heart and a strong passion for social justice.

As a lifelong advocate for equity and equality, Dr. Wilson believes that inclusion should not breed exclusion. She believes that everyone should have a seat at the table and if the table is not big enough, one should build a bigger table. Her mission in Higher Education is to ensure access and retention for all students. Doc has extensive experience in Student Affairs, including working in fraternity and sorority affairs, Basic Needs, Title IX coordination, and Student Conduct Administration.  Currently, Dr. Wilson is the Chief Conduct Administrator at California State University, Chico.  Lastly, Dr. Wilson is a Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
