Position Description
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Reporting to the Associate Director in the Office of Student Accountability & Conflict Response, the Educational Interventions Coordinator assists in administering the policies and procedures of the University Park student conduct program, including engaging students in developmentally appropriate interventions to address and resolve alleged misconduct.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Case Management - Serve as the case manager for allegations of misconduct in accordance with written procedures. Includes reviewing reported misconduct, conducting investigations, initiating the formal student conduct process, informing students about their rights and opportunities in the process, communicating with family members, attorneys, and other support people, and facilitating the acceptance of responsibility, when appropriate.
- Decision-making - Serve as a decision-maker in the formal student conduct process, including facilitating administrative conferences, making a determination of whether a violation occurred, and assigning an action plan, when appropriate.
- Adaptable Resolutions and Conflict Response - Collaborate with other OSACR staff to offer and implement adaptable resolutions instead of the formal student conduct process, when appropriate. Facilitate conflict response options including conflict coaching and facilitated dialogue upon request.
- Training and Outreach - Partner with relevant university offices, student leaders, and other constituents to create and develop resources, presentations, modules, and training regarding the Student Code of Conduct, the formal resolution process, conflict response, harm reduction, ethical decision-making, and peer accountability.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
This position requires a master's degree in higher education, student development, counseling, or a related field and a minimum of one full year of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Information: The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $51,000.00 - $74,000.00.
