ASCA Announces 2026 Presidential Interns

College Station, Texas – February 26, 2026 – The Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) is pleased to announce the selection of Camille Elmore and Ashley McCollum as the 2026 ASCA Presidential Interns. Through the Presidential Internship Program, emerging professionals contribute to projects that advance ASCA's mission and provide valuable resources to the student conduct profession.

Camille Elmore holds a Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Houston, where she is currently pursuing her PhD. Camille's research focuses on inclusive pathways that eliminate career opportunity gaps.

A strategic leader in career development, Camille currently serves as the Associate Director of Employer Engagement and Data Management at Rice University in Houston, Texas. In her role, she leverages data-driven insights to optimize campus recruiting and enhance post-graduation outcomes for the Rice student body. A published contributor to the National Career Development Association (NCDA), Camille is a dedicated runner, reader, and lifelong learner committed to the intersection of data, policy, and student success.

Ashley McCollum is currently pursuing a Master's of Education degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs at Clemson University. Currently, she is a Graduate Assistant for the Office of the President and has worked in the President’s Office for almost 5 years.

As she continues her education, her passion continues to remain focused on higher education and continuing to discover ways to elevate all facets of higher education. Before beginning the Master's program at Clemson University, she received a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in American Sign Language. She is a Spartanburg, South Carolina native who is the youngest person to have been awarded the Key to Spartanburg County in recognition of being the first African American Woman Student Body President at Clemson University serving from 2023-2024.

During the 2026–2027 year, Camille and Ashley will each lead a project designed to support ASCA members and strengthen professional practice.

Camille will investigate the critical linkages between the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Competencies and student conduct administration.

Ashley will be building an efficient resource between CAS Standards and ASCA Knowledge & Skills to amplify a more accessible learning that bridges the connection between these two existing frameworks.

ASCA members are invited to support these projects by sharing their feedback through a brief survey. Member input will help the interns refine their project direction and ensure the resulting resources provide meaningful value to the profession.

Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Camille Elmore and Ashley McCollum as the 2026 ASCA Presidential Interns.
