Conflict Resolution Skills for Difficult Conversations Webinar - 2025

Brought to you in collaboration with the ASCA Conflict Resolution Community of Practice and the Community Colleges Community of Practice! This webinar provides theoretical and practical training in conflict resolution for everyday interactions and difficult conversations emphasizing that conflict is neutral and focusing on how to manage it effectively. Participants will identify their conflict styles, learn problem-solving approaches, and gain skills to adapt to different conflict styles.

Presenter Information & Bio:

Vin J. Ciampolillo (he/him/his)

Vin J. Ciampolillo [champ-o-lil-o]; is the Associate Director, Investigations and Alternative Resolution and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the Office of Equal Opportunity and Institutional Equity (OIE) for Bentley University. This role primarily focuses on investigating complaints of Bentley University’s institutional equity system, as well as developing, facilitating, and assessing alternative dispute resolution pathways. Prior to Bentley, Vin worked and graduated from Cornell University.

Vin also volunteers for the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA), where he was as a faculty member for the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Gehring Academy. 

Additionally, Vin is a licensed mediator and conflict coach for New York State’s Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) and Massachusetts Community Dispute Settlement Center (CDSC). Vin is also a licensed arbitrator for the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
