Faculty Addressing Behavioral Concerns Related to Students with Disabilities
2025 Current Research Webinar Series: Faculty Addressing Behavioral Concerns Related to Students with Disabilities Webinar
Description
The intersectionality of disabilities and student conduct administration is well-researched, but typically through the lens of the student or within the PK-12 setting. This webinar will look at the experiences of a small group of faculty in a community college setting who addressed behavioral concerns related to students with disabilities (SWDs). The themes that surfaced through this research included faculty training, decision-making factors, and lived experiences including the emotional toll (secondary trauma) carried by faculty.
