2025 Current Research Webinar Series: Estimating the Developmental Effect of Disciplinary Suspensions on College Students using Propensity Score Analysis

Conduct officers often have to make difficult decisions to suspend or expel students and are often left wondering if these decisions lead to important development for their students. This webinar is the presentation of a recently completed doctoral dissertation which explored, using propensity score analysis, whether suspensions work. 

Presenter Bio:

Dr. Adam Jones has twenty-plus years of experience in Student Affairs with the last eight of those years focused on Student Conduct administration and is currently the Dean of Students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
