This webinar will focus on strategies and best practices for supporting the wellness and well-being of both students and staff in the context of student conduct administration. Topics covered will include mental health support, stress management, self-care, and creating a positive and inclusive environment.

Dr. Shawnté M. Elbert (She/Her/Hers) Dr. Shawnté M. Elbert, EdD, is a trailblazing figure with 18 years in college health and wellness. Rising from health educator to senior administrator, she champions health equity, policy development, and mentorship for historically marginalized students. Joi Alexander, CHES (She/Her/Hers) Joi Alexander is the Director of the Wellness Empowerment Center at Georgia Tech, spearheading proactive health initiatives and collaborations. With a background in public health and over 15 years of experience, she promotes health equity and fosters inclusive environments for happy, healthy communities. Currently completing her doctorate, Joi also teaches at Southern New Hampshire University, bringing evidence-based practices to her work in creating innovative approaches to well-being at Georgia Tech.
