Survey data was collected in the Fall of 2023 from ASCA membership to better understand how threat assessment teams are operating on colleges campus nationally. With a deeper understanding of current practices, a guide to best practices nationally can start to be developed. National best practices and standards can guide college and university administrators in making significant improvements to teams that are tasked with educating, evaluating and assessing potential threats to our college and university campuses.
