Dr. Courtney Allen is the Director of Community Standards & Student Engagement at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC), where she leads student conduct, behavioral intervention, Title IX student compliance efforts, and holistic student support initiatives across a multi-campus institution. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Clemson University, where her research explored the impact of sister circles on the experiences and retention of Black women in higher education.
With more than 15 years of experience in student affairs, higher education leadership, crisis response, and student engagement, Dr. Allen is a nationally recognized presenter, author, and advocate for equity-centered student success. Her work focuses on restorative practices, community care, student wellbeing, social justice education, and creating inclusive environments where all students can thrive. She regularly presents on topics including holistic student support, multi-generational engagement, student conduct, and belonging in higher education. Contact: caallen@hacc.edu
