Presenter Information & Bio:
Dr. Rony Die
Rony Die (Dee-Ay) is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Rony is deeply committed to supporting student success and has a wealth of experience across student affairs, including student conduct, case management, counseling services, health services, career development, and health promotion and wellness. Before joining SIUE, he worked as the Assistant Dean of Students for the Office for Student Conflict Resolution at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He provided invaluable leadership in this role, overseeing critical areas including the student disciplinary process, Title IX investigations, and alternative conflict-resolution services. He also spearheaded campus-wide crisis response initiatives, supported faculty in managing challenging classroom situations, and contributed his insights to multiple campus committees, including those addressing student concerns, bias assessment, hazing prevention, and Title IX case management.
